TESSERACT: a cooperative, puzzle strategy game

Played this with three friends last night and we lost on the final turn, then immediately reset for another round. The way each player's specialist ability forces everyone to coordinate before anything moves is what kept us talking. Genuinely tense co-op, no quarterbacking problem so far.

The six-day countdown mechanic creates real tension — my group spent twenty minutes arguing over one reaction tile while the avatar track crept closer to the edge. We lost our first two games badly, then finally contained it on the third, and everyone immediately wanted a rematch.
